When we first introduced translations back in 2022, CozyCal's booking interface was available in four languages, and only the guest-facing pages were covered. It was one of our most requested features, and the message from customers since then has been consistent: partial translation isn't enough. Your guests might book in Spanish, but you were still managing your calendar in English.

That's no longer the case. CozyCal is now fully localized, end to end, in eight languages:

  • 🇫🇷 French
  • 🇪🇸 Spanish
  • 🇩🇪 German
  • 🇵🇹 Portuguese
  • 🇳🇱 Dutch
  • 🇩🇰 Danish
  • 🇱🇹 Lithuanian
  • 🇯🇵 Japanese — our newest addition

Everything is translated, not just the booking page

Full localization means the entire application, on both sides of the booking:

  • For your guests: booking pages, intake forms, confirmation pages, and every email notification — confirmations, reminders, rescheduling and cancellation notices
  • For you and your team: the calendar, analytics dashboard, settings, contacts, schedules, and login pages

Your account language and your booking page language are set independently, so you can manage your business in one language while guests book in another.

Welcoming Japanese 🇯🇵

Japanese is the first language we've added beyond the original European set, and it covers the full application just like the others. To switch:

  • Your account: update your language in account settings
  • Your booking page: update the language in booking page settings

How to change your language

  1. Go to Settings → Account to set the language you see when managing CozyCal
  2. Open your booking page's Page Settings → Language to set what your guests see

That's it — emails, dates, and times all follow automatically, including 24-hour time display where it's the local convention.

If you spot a translation that could be better, we'd love to hear about it at support@cozycal.com. Native-speaker feedback has shaped these translations from the start.

Which languages does CozyCal support?

CozyCal is fully available in English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Dutch, Danish, Lithuanian, and Japanese — across booking pages, the calendar, emails, settings, contacts, schedules, analytics, and login.

Can my booking page and my account use different languages?

Yes. Your account language (what you see when managing your business) and your booking page language (what your guests see) are set independently. You can run your account in English while guests book in Japanese, for example.

Are email notifications translated too?

Yes. Confirmation, reminder, rescheduling, and cancellation emails are sent in your booking page's language, so guests get a fully native experience from booking to follow-up.
