This Privacy Policy explains how CozyCal Scheduling Inc ("CozyCal," "we," "us") handles information in connection with the CozyCal website and scheduling service (the "Service"). If you booked through a CozyCal customer's booking page, that customer is the controller of your information — their privacy policy governs, and you should contact them directly with any questions or requests.
Information We Collect
- Account. Name, email, and other details you provide.
- Payment. Billing contact, amount, and plan. Card details go directly to our payment processor; CozyCal does not receive them.
- Usage. Device and interaction data collected via cookies, server logs, and similar technologies to operate and improve the Service.
- Calendar integrations. See www.cozycal.com/security for what we access and why. CozyCal's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Invitee data. Name, email, and booking details submitted through CozyCal customers' booking pages.
How We Use It
We use personal information and automated systems — including AI models from third-party providers listed at www.cozycal.com/subprocessors — to provide, secure, and improve the Service, respond to support requests, detect and prevent abuse, and send service-related communications. We do not use your content to train generalized AI models, and our AI Sub-processors are contractually prohibited from doing so.
Sharing and Transfers
We share personal information with the service providers listed at www.cozycal.com/subprocessors, when required by law or to enforce our agreements, in connection with a merger or sale of assets, or with your consent. We may share aggregated or de-identified data for any lawful purpose. CozyCal is based in Canada, and your data may be processed in Canada, the United States, and other countries where our providers operate.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Data Retention
We retain personal data as long as needed to provide the Service or as required by applicable law (for example, tax and accounting obligations). Aggregated or de-identified data may be retained indefinitely.
Your Rights
If data-protection laws in your jurisdiction give you rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, email support@cozycal.com and we'll respond as required by law.
Security
See www.cozycal.com/security for the safeguards we use. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, email support@cozycal.com and we'll delete it.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Change notice follows the process in the Terms of Service. The current version is always at www.cozycal.com/privacy.
