Slow Food Russian River (SFRR), a Sonoma County chapter of Slow Food International, is dedicated to promoting a global food system that supports good, clean, and fair food practices. As part of this mission, SFRR operates the Sebastopol Community Apple Press, a unique, community-centered resource located on the grounds of the Luther Burbank Experiment Farm. The press allows residents and visitors alike to turn their apples into fresh juice, free of charge, while also serving as an educational tool for schoolchildren.
Before adopting CozyCal, the team at SFRR struggled with an outdated scheduling tool that was clunky, difficult to use, and unreliable. This made it challenging for community members to reserve time slots for using the apple press, scheduling volunteer shifts, and booking school visits. Unlike the old, clunky system they previously used, CozyCal is intuitive and reliable, making it simple for users to manage their appointments without hassle.
