Why does CozyCal need "offline access" when I log in with Google?

CozyCal uses Google's Calendar API to connect to your account. We request offline access to your calendar in order to add events to your calendar as well as to find out when you are busy.

Offline access works using a technology named OAuth 2.0.

To respect your privacy, we make an effort to only access the data that is needed to operate. For example, instead of copying your non-CozyCal events, we may only cache the times when you are busy. You can find out more by viewing our privacy policy.
